Add personality to your home, along with elements of the natural environment, with this modern geometric-patterned flat-weave kilim. A blend of jute, viscose and cotton, this authentic hand-woven rug is made in India and will provide an element of rustic charm, yet still work with a contemporary design scheme.

  • Jute rug
  • Hand woven

Care Instructions:

  • Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibre.
  • Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. If your rug is in a sunny spot or main thoroughfare - rotate rug around occasionally to equalize wear.
  • Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles.
  • Remove spills immediately: if liquid, blot with clean, undyed absorbent cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. You can use a fan or a hair dryer on a low heat to dry the area.
  • For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.

It is recommended to use a rug underlay to help:

  • Prevent the risk of dye transferring to the under surface
  • Protect timber flooring
  • Prevent the risk of rug movement
  • Prevent the risk of rugs slipping, especially on smooth surfaces and in hallways where no furniture items assist to keep the rug in place
  • Adds additional softness and comfort under foot

All our Jute rugs are hand-made and like any hand made product, they require care to keep it looking beautiful, with the correct maintenance your rug will last for many years. In addition to the previous general rug care instructions, here are some specific instructions for Jute rugs.

  • Shake out or vacuum your rug regularly to remove any dirt or debris from settling into the roots of the fibre.
  • “Sprouting” is a normal characteristic of natural fibred rugs. Avoid pulling yarn out of surface; use scissors to trim sprouts that occur to make them even with the rug surface.

We've hand-picked a range of rugs crafted from natural materials in neutral tones but, of course, there are a few dazzaling pops of colour to be found, too. Blacks, creams and greys take a leading role while mid-tone blues, greens and millennial pinks add a calming element.

Text Rugs are no longer just for jazzing up bare floors. Placing them atop carpets adds dimension and can help break rooms into distinct zones. Patterned rugs can take center stage in a room featuring a pared-back design, while textured rugs can add a whole new level of sensory enjoyment.

Text Wheather your style is bold and brassy or subtle and soothing, the patterns found in our Welcome Home rug collection range from lovely clean lines that won't distract the eye, to wonderfully intricate designs guaranteed to mesmerise.

Texture is one of the highlights of our Welcome Home Rug collection, which is crafted from a combination of natural fibres including wools from Argentina and New Zealand, and Indian cotton and jute. Each material has its own unique look, but also its own unique feel underfoot.
